What is a tummy tuck?
Tummy tuck is a detailed surgical procedure to correct abdominal laxity, in which all the excess skin and underlying tissues are removed, together with a tightening of the abdominal muscles.

Patients who complain from laxity, stretch-marks, or excessive fat deposition on the abdominal wall after pregnancy(ies), weight gain/loss, hernia or hormonal problems, are candidates for a tummy tuck.
How is a tummy tuck operation performed? How long does it take?
Tummy tuck is performed under general anaesthesia, within 2 to 3 hours. During the procedure, all the excess skin on the abdomen is removed, the abdominal muscles are tightened, excess fat is sucked out by liposuction, and the belly button is revised, ending up with a totally restored abdominal look.
How long after tummy tuck do I need to stay at the hospital? When can I go back to work/school/daily life?
Hospital stay is generally 2 nights following surgery. It takes about 10 days to go back to your daily life.

A 7-day stay after surgery will be enough.
Can tummy tuck be done in combination with other aesthetic operations?
It’s possible to combine tummy tuck with various other aesthetic operations.
After tummy tuck, how long should I wear the corset for?
You need to wear your corset for 3 weeks after the operation.
